Thai House - Alamosa: Reviews & Ratings
This is a hidden gem in a small town. Really big and spacious place with a nice vibe and excellent excellent food. Recommend the pork gyoza, pineapple curry and drunken noodles. Must visit again.
Great stop for dinner. We started with Shrimp Shumai for appetizers, then the beef "Drunken Noodle" and the Chicken Soup for our Main Dish, and Hot Tea for drinks. We finished our dinner with the dessert of "Sticky Rice" and Mango..very good.
Had vegan tofu pad tai. Absolutely delicious. As was the large bowl of miso and huge wakame seaweed salad. The noodle dishes were all huge portions. With abundant meats and veggies and well sauced. Definitely recommend this tasty and filling place. Setting is pretty standard. Mostly tables with a few booths.
We had Red Curry and Panang Curry and loved it. One of the best Thai places we ever went to. We chose 3 on the spicy scale and it was plenty spicy for us.
I found this place on a whim. Just saw it driving and went in. Super glad I did as this was some of the most authentic Thai I've had since leaving the west coast. The price vs quality here is fantastic. You can order some apps and a main dish and still not break the bank. The service was a tiny bit slow but very sweet and inviting (Honestly our server was probably just a little busy). The decor was spot on for a Thai place and we had lovely window seats to be able to see the downtown strip. They also have fantastic value lunch specials that come with soup. If I'm ever back in the area I'm heading straight to Thai House for another wonderful meal.
I’m not originally from the San Luis Valley—I moved here four years ago after spending 12 years in the Denver and Colorado Springs area. That said, I can honestly say the food here is just as good as what you’d find up there. The quality and flavor are right on par. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and always ready with great suggestions, especially for our family of three, including our child under 10. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience. We celebrate birthdays and special occasions here because, yes, some of the dishes can be a little pricey—but it’s absolutely worth it when you’re going all out. The food, the atmosphere, the service… it all makes it feel special. Even when we’re eating clean or trying to stay healthy, their menu still has options that work for our lifestyle. It’s become one of our go-to places, and honestly, it feels like a hidden gem in the Valley. So glad we found it.
Best Thai food ever in our trip. The dragon roll tastes out of this world. The shrimp fried rice , tom yum soup, shrimp basil vegetable curry were awesome. I would recommend it to everyone whoever traveling to Alamosa. It is such a good restaurant. We went there twice in a day within 2 days of our stay.
